Struggling To Lose Weight? Here's The Most Effective Diet And Exercise Plan (EVER!)

Are you struggling to lose weight? Are you tired of jumping on diet after diet and exercise plan after exercise plan... only to end up failing and feeling miserable? Read on to discover the most effective diet and exercise plan I have found to get the best results possible... FOR YOU!

In The Beginning...

300 pounds, a fat stomach, love handles, heavy breathing, pain in my back just from walking, and VERY low self-esteem. That's what I dealt with before I began my journey to transform my body!
Needless to say, I was desperate. I tried everything in the beginning. Diet pills, fad diets, starvation diets, and so much more. And you know what? Nothing worked! I just couldn't get that scale or my waistline to budge!

Then... I Had An Epiphany...

This epiphany drove me to finding the most effective diet and exercise program for ME... and as a result... I lost a TON of weight, I flattened my stomach, and so much more!

Can you guess what it was?

Well, I gave you a couple of hints in the beginning of this article and in the paragraph above...

I found a diet and exercise program for ME and I found a program I felt would get ME the best results.

In other words, I for one stopped messing around with unnatural diets and diet pills. That's something no matter what, I STRONGLY recommend you steer clear from. Secondly, I stopped trying to find the next best thing and what was working for OTHER PEOPLE. Instead, I looked for something I knew that I wouldn't have a problem STAYING CONSISTENT WITH!

And that right there my friend is the most effective diet and exercise plan: A plan that YOU are interested in trying and would not have a problem staying consistent with!

Why Is That So Important?

Well, one thing I learned (the hard way) is that if you want to get the best results, it all boils down to two words: Consistency + Results. Period.

If you first choose a natural diet and exercise program that YOU want to do and stay consistent with it, you are going to get results, if you get results, you are going to have ongoing motivation, if you have ongoing motivation, NOTHING can stop you from achieving the body of your dreams!

Now, How Do You Look For A Good Diet And Exercise Plan?

The only search criteria you need to have when searching for something you might want to try is one word: NATURAL. If it's natural, it can work for you.

So, what would be considered a natural diet?

A natural diet is something that is based on eating ALL types of foods without starving yourself or depriving yourself. Starvation and deprivation is a surefire way to slow down your metabolism and make you feel miserable.

Also, another thing to look for in a good diet is one that is based on doing natural techniques to boost your metabolism. A fast metabolism = faster fat loss.

A good exercise plan is one that is based on doing things that YOUR are trying to achieve with your body...

Are you just trying to get thinner? Then a workout based on moderate muscle building workouts and high intensity interval cardio, or doing long low intensity cardio would be ideal.

Are you trying to athletic? Then a workout based on strategic muscle building centered around strength building and explosive workouts, and high intensity interval cardio would be ideal.

Are you trying to build muscle? Then of course heavy muscle building workouts and low intensity cardio would be ideal.

Etc.

Bottom line, if you want to find the best program, base your decision on what YOU feel like you can stick with, make sure that it is something that can fit into YOUR lifestyle, make sure that it is fitting to YOUR goals, and of course, make sure that it is 100% natural.

Pros And Cons Of Weight Loss

Just like most everything else in life there are pros and cons of weightloss boot camps. People who are overweight sometimes think that the only way they will ever lose the weight is to pack up their belongings and go live, sometimes in another state, in one of these camps.

That very well may be. Sometimes that is what it takes for someone to reach the goals they need to reach and there is nothing wrong with this. Lots of people can only "perform" when they are being pushed and prodded to do so. That is where they find their motivation.

Let's take a look at some of the pros and cons of weightloss boot camps:

Pros:

1. Losing excess weight

2. Reaching fitness goals

3. Learning about healthy nutrition

4. Learning new, fun ways to exercise

5. Pushing yourself farther than you ever thought you could go

6. Meeting new people and making new friends

7. Visiting an area of the country that you may never have thought you would otherwise

You get the idea. These are just a few of the benefits of joining one of these camps. While you are there you may find more things that you would call a benefit. It is all in the eye of the beholder, for the most part.

Some of the cons:

1. These types of camps are expensive. They can run you thousands of dollars depending on the length of your stay.

2. Intense physical demands placed on your body

3. Mentally tough. You will need to draw on an inner strength that you may or may not know that you have. (This could possibly turn into a pro, if you let it.)

There you have it. We have all heard the saying, "That that doesn't kill you makes you stronger", right? Well, if you join one of these camps in the first few days you may think you are going to die but after the first week or so you will begin to notice a difference in how you feel when you wake up in the morning.

One morning you will wake up and the soreness and stiffness will be gone and you will actually feel energized and strong. You will have realized that you have had one of the best night sleeps that you have had in a long time and you feel rested despite the intense physical exercise.

There might be a point when you feel like kicking yourself for not doing something like this sooner. That you wasted a lot of years feeling sorry for yourself or whatever the problem was.

What you need to tell yourself is that everything happens when it is supposed to and that the past should be left in the past and now is the time to move on and be the new, wonderful person you have created and start enjoying life again.

It is always a good idea to "weigh" the pros and cons of new situations so you know what you are getting yourself into and that includes weighing the pros and cons of weightloss boot camps.

Private Chefs In Weightloss Boot Camps

I think having private chefs in weightloss boot camps is pretty standard. Due to the steep cost of some of these camps I think that the owners of the camps want to give their clients the best of everything during their stays.

That is the upside of having private chefs in weightloss boot camps. The downside is that the client does not get to experience making their own healthy meals and therefore may not learn what is needed to maintain their new found healthy weight.

Unless the camp and chef also offers healthy cooking classes as part of the program the client will remain deficient in this most important part of a healthy lifestyle.

Any camp worth it's salt should be well rounded and focus on all aspects of losing weight and keeping it off. Therefore, teaching the client how to eat and cook for themselves once they leave the program is essential. Unless they are determined to have repeat customers, that is.

The best way to teach someone how to eat correctly and make healthy choices is to let them do it themselves, with guidance. Most people learn the best this way. A hands on approach to a healthy lifestyle allows the client to gain the confidence needed for when they get home.

The best camps out there employ nutritionists and dieticians to help customize meal plans for their clients but it is the chef who can really inspire the client to use their imagination and become creative with their food preparation so they do not get bored with food and slide back into the same old habits.

Most people are not passionate about food, except when eating it. A chef is passionate about food and may be able to pass some of that passion on to the client so they lose the weight they need to during their visit and then take what they have learned home with them to their families.

The preparation of the meal is just as important to the chef as the eating of the meal. From planning out what to serve, buying the ingredients, preparing them and then presenting them nicely on the plate so they are appealing all goes into what makes a meal an experience rather than just eating for the sake of eating.

An executive chef knows this and can teach the clients all that really goes into a meal so maybe they gain some of that passion for food and make it easier to change their own bad habits.

Changing our relationship with food is the best way to keep the weight off permanently. Food is meant to fuel our bodies not comfort our soul in times of stress.

If the camp offers some type of counseling as well then the client may also be able to figure out the "why" behind the way they feel about food and make an even deeper, lasting change.

Private chefs in weightloss boot camps along with the personal trainers, nutritionists, counselors, and possibly medical personnel on staff should give the client the needed support to lose the weight they need and keep it off.

Nutrition And Weight Loss Boot Camp

Nutrition and weightloss boot camps should go hand in hand. Relearning healthy habits is important when trying to lose weight.

Proper nutrition can be confusing. You may think you already eat healthy foods but have you ever read the labels of the things that you eat? Let's just say that a typical day for you starts out cold cereal for breakfast. Is that all you eat? Do you know the correct serving size? You do if you have read the label.

The usual serving size is one cup of cereal and one cup of milk. Calorie count is probably close to 230 calories per serving. There is some protein in the milk you poured over your cereal but most of what you have just eaten is processed carbohydrates, the bad kind.

Bad because they spike your blood sugar and if you don't burn it off immediately your body will store it as fat around your middle. The sugar content of these cereals is high.

Most "healthy" cereals have some type of sugar added to them because if they didn't, you would not be able to eat them, they would taste terrible. Check the labels.

Nutrition and weightloss boot camps should have some sort of "class" to teach their clients about proper nutrition and how to keep up the new, healthy eating habits you learn during your stay at the camp.

There is no sense spending thousands of dollars at one of these camps losing the weight if you do not make the lifestyle changes you need to make. You will only succeed in putting the weight right back on when you come home.

That's right, I said thousands of dollars. A typical one month stay can run you anywhere between $7,000.00 to $18,000.00 depending on where you choose to stay. Do the comparisons on your own, losing weight is big business.

Most if not all of the nutrients we put in our bodies should come from fresh foods. Processed foods came about only as a matter of convenience. No one knew at the time that people would come to rely on processed foods to feed their families after a busy day at the office.

Bad carbs are one of the biggest culprits in this country being as morbidly obese as it is. You may think you are eating healthy but if you were to stop and count the carbs you eat in one day you would see the correlation between that bad carb consumption and the fact that you cannot lose the weight and in fact keep on gaining weight.

You must re-learn how to eat if you are going to lose the excess weight you are carrying around. Find a camp that will help you re-learn how to shop and make tasty healthy meals for yourself and your family.

Nutrition and weightloss boot camps focus should be on, not only losing the weight and making lifestyle changes, but making sure that their clients can sustain that weight loss and lifestyle change after they return home.

Even if you have struggled in the past, it is time to start fresh. Use the information here to help motivate you, because this thing can be done!

Don't forget to commit yourself to a long-term outcome. Do the kinds of activities and exercises that you enjoy so that you will continue to do them for a long time. Shortcuts and easy fixes will only get in the way of what should be a lifelong commitment to your health.

We all know that vitamin C benefits our bodies in many ways. But it also helps those trying to lose weight in that it converts glucose in to energy. You will enjoy many foods that are rich in vitamin C. The list includes: broccoli, green peppers, kiwi fruit, lemons, oranges and even cabbage. There are thousands of others!

One way to help with weight loss is to brush your teeth right after eating dinner. This tells your body you are done with food for the night. The minty clean feeling discourages snacking or drinking high calorie liquids. A minty mouth and greasy potato chips, for example, do not go well together.

Make it a point not to deprive yourself. If you are used to eating a lot of things that are not healthy for you, it is better for you to cut them out of your diet gradually. Eliminating too many things too fast will most likely lead to binge eating later.

One helpful tip for losing weight is to eat soups, especially for the evening meal. Soups can vary a lot in body and texture, but all are comforting and filling. The high amount of liquid fills you up, and they can be quite nutritious with the addition of beans, whole grain pasta, brown rice, vegetables, and lean meats. You can consume a great deal of soup compared to the volume of solid food you would be able to eat containing the same calories, and walk away feeling much more satisfied.

Turn small tasks and activities into exercises that you can complete anywhere. There are several things you do each day, that while not significant, pose a great chance to get an extra exercise in here and there. Whether you are brushing your teeth and doing crunches at the same time, or cooking and running in place, there are many great exercises that could easily take up down time.

Sign up with an online community that focuses on weight loss. Not only will you get valuable information, but you will be in a support group that will keep you motivated in your endeavor. This is also a good support system for people who are too self-conscious to join a group in person.

Choosing fish instead of meat, can help you to lose weight. You will still feel full, but at the same time, decrease your calorie intake. Seafood products are often lighter, with less fat, while still providing protein along with an array of intriguing tastes and textures. By eating less red meat (even less white meat) and choosing fish, you give your diet a much-needed boost.

Now that you are well armed, it is time to get to work and drop the pounds for good. Even if weight has always been an issue, you can use the information here to go into this thing informed and ready. It is time to show those love handles who is boss!

Liposuction Vs Cool Sculpting Pros And Cons

Ultimately, when comparing Liposuction vs Cool Sculpting, you want to talk to your doctor to find out the best method for you. There are, of course, pros and cons for each but your doctor can not only provide you with those, he can also better evaluate which one is best for you, your body type and your unique situation.

As a general rule of thumb when you are trying to figure out Liposuction vs Cool Sculpting it would seem that cool sculpting would wins hands down. There are many reasons for this and in this article I will go over what those reason are.

Again though, I can't stress enough the importance of talking to your doctor so you can make the best decision possible. Any type of procedure, especially invasive ones, are big deals. You need to factor in how much it will cost along with what you can reasonably expect and what you can't reasonably expect.

That may be one of the most important things to consider, make sure that whatever option you choose you have a very realistic idea of what you can really expect but don't fall into the idea of expecting more than you really should.

One of the biggest things you need to remember is that any type of liposuction or cool sculpting is not about weight loss. Let me repeat that, it's not about weight loss. That may sound odd but it is one of the biggest misconceptions that most people have.

You see, both of these methods are about "sculpting" not weight loss. It is important that you use other, safe and doctor approved, methods to lose all the weight you can first. But, since it is impossible to lose weight only in one small spot, spot reducing, you will probably still have trouble spots when you are done.

Those are the areas you need to use these types of sculpting techniques  for since that is what they are deigned for. You may not be able to spot reduce with diet and exercise but you can spot "sculpt" with either liposuction or cool sculpting.

The big advantage of cool sculpting is that it is totally non invasive. As such there are virtually no side effects associated with it. There is no risk of infection as there would be with liposuction, there is no risk of dangerous side effects from anesthesia as there is with liposuction, etc.

Overall the price of cool sculpt is also a lot less since it isn't actually a surgery. With surgery you normally need to either do it in a surgery center or a hospital and you would need not only your doctor and a nurse or two but also a anesthesiologist as well.

All of that will generally increase your costs.

Again, only your doctor can give you the most accurate answer to the Liposuction vs Cool Sculpting question. The only real advantage to liposuction would be if the results you got were superior to the cool sculpt. If not, it just may not be worth the extra risks and the extra money.

Learn How To Take The Weight Off

Losing weight can seem like a struggle if you aren't used to the lifestyle you need to have in order to lose a lot of weight. But the truth is, you can lose a lot of weight if you just commit to doing so. Here are some techniques that will help you get started.

Losing weight is a challenge both mentally and physically. A great way to start changing your habits would be to start parking farther away from the stores you go to. Walking is a great and easy way to start shedding pounds, and you'll realize you actually are in your car looking for a better space longer than it takes to just park further away and walk there.

Eat a rainbow of vegetables throughout the week to make sure you're getting all the vitamins and minerals you need from them. Each color represents different nutrients, and it also helps you keep your meals different and interesting. Losing weight is easy when you make it fun, so try all different vegetables to see what you love!

Eat when you are truly hungry not when you feel hungry. Due to other several psychological factors many people will eat out of desire not hunger and then they feel worse because of the extra unnecessary calories consumed. Eating out of desire will only destroy your weight loss goals, so remember eat only when you are truly hungry.

Always add an option of fresh vegetables and fruit with your meals. If you are eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner with the family, by yourself, at home or at work, you want to know that you have the option of a nutritious side rather than what is served with the food you are eating. This isn't to say that you can't eat your sides, but it gives you a great idea for healthier eating if you would like to substitute.

A great tip that may help you lose weight is to ditch all of those breakfast cereals that contain way too much sugar, and eat oatmeal instead. Oatmeal is one of the best sources of carbohydrates around. The energy you get from eating oatmeal will practically fuel your whole day.

Clean your teeth late at night! It may sound strange, but if you clean your teeth just before you go to bed, that sneaky midnight snack that will pile on the weight may not be as tempting. By cleaning your teeth, subconsciously you are telling your body that you have finished eating for the day.

When going out to dinner, ask the server not to bring appetizers. Many restaurants offer their customers a basket of bread or chips before they eat their meal. Keep in mind that you need to avoid this type of food and not overeat. The best way not to be tempted is to ask for these items not to be brought to your table.

If you are trying to limit your calorie intake while maximizing your nutritional benefit, skip or limit the condiments. Most salad dressings and sandwich toppings are high in fat, while even low-calorie options such as ketchup or mustard are high in salt. Limit the condiments you eat to the ones you really need to enjoy your food.

When taking on a new weight-loss program, it is important to reward yourself for your success and perseverance! Many of us are wired to think of food as a reward, so it is time to think more creatively. Getting a new outfit can be a real motivator as you watch the pounds slip off and are able to drop a size or two. Treat yourself to a facial or specialty spa treatment for some pampering and girl-time. Shopping with friends or a "girls-night-out" may be your idea of fun! Whatever it is that makes you feel special and pampered will be a great reward for you!

Losing weight with these tips is possible. Even more than that, these tips can help you make those beginning changes that will lead to even more changes and dropped weight as time goes on. Just commit to losing the weight and work at it; it will happen for you.

Kids Weight Loss Boot Camps-Can Give Individual Attention

If you have a child who is over weight and you both agree that help is needed for them to lose the excess pounds, check out kids weightloss boot camps as an excellent resource for just this type of thing.

Kids weightloss boot camps are different than those for adults because kids have different nutritional needs than most adults do. Their bodies are still growing and they need certain vitamins and nutrients everyday to keep them healthy and growing as they should.

Of course, being over weight only adds to the challenge of getting them those correct vitamins and nutrients while trying to cut calories as well. Most of the camps focus on feeding the kids fruits and vegetables and lean cuts of meat and fish.

Not everyone is going to like everything that gets put in front of them but if you want your kids to be healthy and happy then maybe looking into one or more of these places is the thing to do to change the way they, and you, feel about the food they are currently eating.

It is not a good thing to tempt your child with junk food and other things they should not be eating so either hide it or get rid of it all together and just stop buying it.

Everyone is busy in their lives and if you taught your child that food is their babysitter they will not ever find the motivation to get out from under that food's control over them so saving your pennies and sending your child to a camp that specializes in kids and weight loss then do it.

Children who are overweight are more likely to develop diseases and disorders like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease much earlier and more devastating than their parents or grandparents because they do not take the time to get the exercise they need in this electronic age we live in.

In a controlled environment of a camp they will get the individual attention they need as well as group activities to join in. They will be expected to set their own goals for the weight they want, and need, to lose and then do their best to try to reach those goals with the help of the counselors at the camp.

Just make sure that the camp you both choose has a doctor on board to follow each and every child enrolled in the program. Safety of your child is of the utmost importance and while they are at this camp you will have no control over them at all so make sure they get the medical supervision that they need.

There will no doubt be dieticians and exercise physiologists to handle the diet and exercise portions but your children will need to be checked out by a doctor at least periodically throughout the length of the program.

Once they have met their weight loss goals and come home you will both realize that sending to one of the many kids weightloss boot camps was the best idea you ever had.

Importance Of Your Personal Exercise Plan

A personal exercise plan is an important part of your overall efforts to make a healthy change to your life. It is far more important that you participate in the development of your plan than to blindly follow what others tell you that you should be doing for exercise. There are a few reasons that this is an important aspect of your exercise goals.

Working on your own personal exercise plan is a great way to make sure that the exercises that you are doing are ones that you actually enjoy.  Following along with a routine that has been decided for you is less likely to keep you coming back for more the following day than one that you have planned out on your own. Take some time to determine what kind of exercise you enjoy doing and create your own exercise routine. It is one way that you can be sure that some fun is included in your plan.

No one knows what you are capable of doing better than you. Your own personal exercise plan will accommodate any activities that you are physically incapable of doing. A personal trainer can take these things into consideration when working on your exercise plan, but no one can do it better than you. Do some reading on various exercises to find one that is well suited to you.

You can also vary your personal exercise plan and include a number of exercises that you would like to try. For instance, try a brisk walk one day, go swimming the next, and take a yoga class on a different day. It is completely up to you the kind of exercise that you include in your plan as long as you keep on moving.

You also know your schedule much better than any personal trainer can and you will know just how to accommodate the emergencies and changes that will inevitably come up. Make a contingency plan when you are scheduling your exercise for the week. It is always a good idea to plan for those days when things get in your way so that your whole week doesn’t get shot.

Creating your own personal exercise plan is also a lot of fun. You can choose to try new things and experiment a bit with your exercise routine. You can take things off that you don’t enjoy and make sure that your exercise goes exactly the way that you want. Take some time to determine what you might like to try and include it in your exercise plan. What’s the worst that could happen?

It is very empowering to work on your own personal exercise plan.  The sky is the limit and you can keep track of your improvements and accomplishments as you go along. Make it a little bit harder in a shorter period of time and you will see the improvements that your body is making with all of your hard work and effort. What’s more, it’s fun.

You can look at your exercise plan as your own personal journey through the world of exercise and fitness.

How To Properly Hydrate When Losing Weight

If you're like most people, you feel that you could benefit from losing a little weight, but just aren't sure where to begin or you don't have the time. If this describes you, read on to find out how you can make a simple plan to lose weight, without disrupting your busy life.

Try using seaweed to help speed up your weight loss. Munching on seaweed has been shown to minimize how much fat your body is able to absorb. Keep an eye on the salt content of this product, however, and try to find "naked" seaweed, which has less salt than other versions of the food.

Do not let an opportunity to move around pass you by. At work, volunteer yourself to run documents from one department to the other. Clean your house actively. Do some work on your garden. Any occasion to move around and get some exercise is a good thing for your weight.

Make small changes to your meals for big results. Have your sandwich in a mini pita pocket instead of two slices of bread, use 2% milk instead of regular for your coffee or cereal, avoid the ice cream and keep fruit in the house for dessert . These are all small ways to cut calories without changing your life around.

A easy way to help with weight loss is to pass on soda pop. You will be truly amazed at how much weight you can lose by simply switching to water. Soda dries your body out, making you gain water weight. It also causes you to take in hundreds of more calories a day.

When you feel a craving coming on, ask yourself which color you need right now. It sounds odd, but it works if you're trying to lose weight. Once you recognize which color you need, picture in your mind that you are completely surrounded by that color. By the time you have the visualization in place, your craving should be over.

If you are trying to lose weight, avoid eating your snacks out of the packaging that they came in. If you eat out of the package, you have a greater chance of eating more than a serving size. Be sure to separate all of your snacks in to a fist sized portion. This will keep you from overeating.

Make sure you are exercising, when you are striving toward your weight loss goals. You don't want to exercise just to exercise either, you want to make every workout count. Remember, it is the quality of the workout that counts and not the quantity. You can walk all day and although it may help in reducing your weight, running will help you lose weight even faster.

If you are trying to lose weight, a great tip is to use natural applesauce to spice up your foods. Natural applesauce makes a tasty dip to use on certain fruits like bananas and melons. Not only is it very tasty, but applesauce also has many antioxidants that aid in weight loss.

An effective way to lose calories, and subsequently lose weight, is to power-walk. Power-walking is an easy way to workout for people of all ages and sizes. When taking a walk, speed up the pace. You do not have to go so fast that you are running, just walk faster than you usually do.

As you can see, weight loss is just as simple as knowing what to do and following through. With these tips, you know everything you need to know about how to make a weight loss plan and stick to it, no matter what. Soon, you'll be looking great and buying a smaller size of clothes.

Helpful Tips For Weight Loss If Your Diabetic

I'm sure you are quite aware of the fact that if your overweight your odds of developing Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes goes up dramatically. You also know that we aren't talking about a few extra pounds; we are talking about 20 plus pounds. In other words we are talking about being obese. One of the best ways for you to have weight loss and lower the odds of being diagnosed with diabetes is exercise. Exercise for diabetics is critical.

Although Type 1 diabetes cannot be prevented exercise is a phenomenal way to help control insulin sensitivity throughout the body. The exertion brought forth by the exercise causes the muscles to burn the glucose more efficiently. But a great side effect of the exercise will cause your metabolism to speed up, which in turn will burn calories thus helping your body to shed those extra pounds.

You should know that even though Type 1 Diabetes cannot be prevented, it is possible to prevent Type 2. One of the first steps you must take to prevent it is commence a weight loss program that combines exercise and healthy eating. You should then follow up step 1 with the proper vitamins and herbal supplements, which in turn reduce insulin sensitivity and help in maintaining a healthy weight.

Recent studies have determined that a 30 minute walk every day can dramatically decrease the possibility of an overweight person contracting Type 2 Diabetes. The natural swing of the arms and legs will increase the circulation to the heart and lungs. This in turn will reduce the chances for heart disease and help avoid the possibility of losing circulation in the lower extremities. This is a deadly side effect of diabetes.

Diabetics and overweight people often suffer from high blood pressure. This as you know causes a shrinking of the blood vessels and restricts blood flow to the extremities of the body, particularly the lower ones. Exercise of course lowers the blood pressure and in doing so opens the blood vessels. Thus increasing the blood flow to the lower extremities; which in turn prevents the terrible damage to the toes and feet of a diabetic or overweight person.

However, this does not happen overnight and it is imperative to your weight loss and control/prevention of diabetes. Because the exercise should be done every day there are some inherent dangers which can be induced by the exercise. The good thing is if you are aware of these dangers you can stay ahead of the game.

1. If you are diabetic or borderline diabetic exercise will lower the blood sugar levels and you may become hypoglycemic. If you exercise alone always have a candy bar or a natural juice (orange juice) or other fruit juices which can quickly restore your blood sugar level.

2. Closely monitor how you feel physically during and after exercise. If you notice that you are feeling weak and drained or experience a sudden onset of hunger it's possible your blood sugar levels are dropping below the safe level. Again go for the candy or the juices.

Weight loss and exercise for diabetics go hand in hand. It is important you work with your doctor or other professional health provider to make sure you are doing things right. You can control both weight loss and diabetes, don't let them control you.

FDA Approved Weight Loss-The Safest Methods For You

If using only FDA approved weight loss methods are what you consider to be the safest way to go, then you are in luck. There are many such products and procedures currently on the market today.

There are several prescriptions as well as several procedures that can help you win the battle of your bulge. Unfortunately, just because something is FDA approved does not necessarily mean it is without risks or that it will even work for you.

Having something that is an FDA approved weight loss method may  help protect you, but at the end of the day you and your doctor will have to evaluate what is safe and what isn't.

No matter which product, or procedure, you and your doctor finally settle on there is one thing you need to be aware of; most of these products aren't going to do you any good if you don't make some changes to your life.

You can't continue to eat poorly and not exercise and lose weight. I don't care what the commercials say, it won't happen. As a matter of fact, the next time you see a commercial take a close look, I can almost guarantee you that you will see a disclaimer that says something along the lines of: results vary, use in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program.

You see, there is no wonder drug that will strip the weight off with no effort on your part. If you have poor eating and / or exercise habits, things won't work. You have to take in fewer calories than you burn to lose weight.

That can be accomplished by either eating less, working out more, or in the most ideal circumstances, combine both elements to get the results you want. Of course, before you make any changes, particularly drastic changes, you should talk to your doctor first.

If you have any underlying health issues only your doctor can tell you what you should do and what the safest approach should be when it comes to your diet and exercise plan.

Supplements are made to do just that: supplement your existing efforts to help you speed up your results. Other procedures are geared to helping you sculpt those trouble spots so that you can finish off those spots that you still haven't lost all the weight you want to lose.

There are now non invasive liposuction type procedures that can help you spot reduce and continue to lose weight right where you want to lose it. At least one of these procedures, Cool Sculpt, is FDA approved and it is non invasive and does not require any type of anesthesia.

Because of that, it is a safe alternative to other forms of sculpting such as liposuction. Your doctor can help advise you as to what is available and what options are likely to work best for you.

At the end of the day, using an FDA approved weight loss method, whether a supplement or some sort of spot reducing sculpting method, you can look the way you want to look. It is best to make changes that will be permanent and use these methods to help you finish off the process.

Extreme Weight Loss Boot Camps

If you are overweight and want or need to lose a significant amount of weight due to underlying medical issues or just want to look and feel healthier but have tried everything you can think of with no success then maybe the next step for you is one of many extreme weight loss boot camps.

Extreme weight loss boot camps will definitely put you through the paces. Each one is different in their approach but all will help their clients learn how to eat, the right way, and help you get your body moving so you can burn the fat and lose the weight.

They should also help you change the bad habits you have gotten yourself into and teach you what you need to know to keep the weight off for good.

If you are going to make this commitment to yourself then you need to prepare. Do some research of the facility you choose or research several so you get the best deal. Registering to be a part of one of these camps is not cheap but they are worth every penny if you realize the goals you have set for yourself.

Depending on where you choose to attend one of these camps cost can range from $665.00 per day for a one week stay down to $250.00 per day for 30 days or longer stays.

Workouts are custom tailored to your specific needs and abilities by certified fitness trainers who oversee your workouts by getting right in there with you, not by walking around with a clipboard and a whistle.

Although losing weight is the major aspect of these camps, learning how to shop for healthy foods and then bringing that food home and learning to cook it should be as important as losing the weight.

You may be successful at losing the weight while you are living at the camp but if you do not learn to change the bad habits you have with food then when you leave, it will be too easy to fall back into the same old routines that made you fat to begin with and you will gain the weight back in no time.

When researching this article I found that there are very few that require you to cook your own food. Most have executive chefs on board who cook the meals for the clients registered at the camps.

This teaches you nothing about how to prepare your own food once you leave the camp. This is why people fail at diets they never learn how to cook healthy meals on their own.

Now I am not saying that you can never again ever have something sweet or something that you shouldn't have. Moderation should also be taught, because even if you do eat something good for you you can still overdo and eat too much of a good thing.

Extreme weight loss boot camps can be a wonderful way to lose those excess pounds and learn new, healthy ways to keep the weight off and live a healthier lifestyle.

Doctor Recommended Boot Camps-Weight Loss Camps

When you decide that enough is enough and you have found the motivation to finally lose the extra weight you have been carrying around you might want to talk to your personal care physician about doctor recommended boot camps.

Your personal care physician will most likely want to give you the once over just to make sure that you are healthy enough to undergo the intense physical demands on your body that comes with doctor recommended boot camps.

This is a good thing to do because then you will know that nothing will get in the way of you accomplishing your goals.

When you get to boot camp you will also have the staff there who will no doubt do a physical assessment as well to get a baseline of where you are at the beginning of the program to compare not only along the way to measure your progress but at the end of the program to measure your success.

You will have to step on a scale to get your starting weight and then whomever does your assessment will take measurements of specific places on your body to measure how many inches you lose along the way.

Then, taking into consideration your age, height, and weight, they will calculate you BMI, or body mass index. Basically, this measures the amount of muscle to fat ratio you actually have on your body.

Do not let any of this dissuade you from your goals. It is what it is and that's why you joined the camp, to lose the weight and gain lean muscle.

Lean muscle will burn fat and calories even while you are sleeping. The more you gain the faster you will burn the excess fat from your body and the sooner you will see results.

The sooner you start seeing results the more you will be motivated to keep the weight off when the program is completed.

Exercise and building lean muscle is not the do all end all, however. If you do not figure out why you eat the way you do you will more than likely revert back to old habits when the program is completed. You do not want that.

So, one thing that should be taught along with the exercise regimen at these camps is nutrition. There is a lot that goes into nutrition besides eating and it starts with shopping at the grocery store correctly.

You must learn to stop shopping for foods that are convenient. Convenience foods are loaded with bad carbohydrates because they are processed so they are easy to prepare.

Start shopping for and eating fresh foods like the kind you find in the produce section. You may think that it will take more time to prepare your meals but wait til you taste the difference. Fresh just tastes better.

Doctor recommended boot camps should have sections of the program that will teach you how to shop and cook and eat much better than you do now. Make sure, before you join, that the program does include some hands on cooking lessons so you not only lose the weight but can take what you learn back home with you.

Best Body Area For Cool Sculpting

About a dozen years ago I found myself very overweight. It had added up after 3 pregnancies. I had lost some, but not all, of my pregnancy weight and by the time my third child was born I really needed to lose some weight. So, I did what most people do - I started working out and eating better. But, at the end I needed more and I wanted to know what the best body area for cool sculpting might be.

I was lucky in that I found a good friend to work out with. We had a nice friendly competition going so we spurred each other on. So, after about a  year I looked great. The problem was that I still had some spots that had too much fat.

I don't know if you know it or not, but there is no such thing as "spot reducing". What that means is that you can't just eat right and diet and expect to lose all your weight from your stomach area, for example. You will continue to lose weight from all over your body.

So, you may be wondering, what happens when you've lost all the weight you want to lose around the rest of your body but you still have those spots that you need to lose weight from? If you can't spot reduce then what do you do? If you continue to lose weight all over when you really don't need to just to lose the rest of the weight in those trouble spots won't you end up looking emaciated?

And yes, if you continue to lose weight and you only have one or two trouble spots where you really need to lose weight, you may well start to look bad. The answer at that point is to find a safe procedure that can take out that excess fat just on those trouble spots.

That is where liposuction or an updated, non invasive alternative such as Cool Sculpt will come into play.

The nice thing is that the best body area for cool sculpting are those areas where most of us need it the most.

The spot reducing technique called Cool Sculpt, which is a cool laser targeted to fat cells in the skin, is one way to accomplish it. This method is non invasive and FDA approved and is approved to help you get rid of those unwanted pockets of fat on the stomach, hips, thighs, butt, flanks and back. In short, the areas most of us need it.

It is not recommended for small areas but lets face it; most of us don't need it on small areas anyway.

So, if you've dieted and exercised, with your doctors approval of course, but you still have some trouble spots, techniques such as Cool Sculpt may be just what you need to get the total look you want.

And, since the best body area for cool sculpting are those areas that most of us tend to struggle with anyway it can be the answer to what you had hoped to accomplish.

Beach And Other Locations Of Weight Loss Camps

You can find fitness retreats almost anywhere these days. Some are located right on the beach and other locations of weightloss boot camps could include the desert, the mountains, the woods, wherever in the world anyone could think of.

Wherever the setting, the most important thing to keep in mind is you are there to literally work your butt off.

The setting, like the beach and other locations of weightloss boot camps, can be quite inspiring to the clients so the people who run the camps want to do all they can to impress their clients.

Besides, their clients are paying quite a bit of money and want to be impressed by the scenery while they are doing all of the work on their bodies to improve the way they look and feel.

Being able to look out at a beautiful view can help them relax and not be so uptight, or nervous about what they are actually doing.

If the camp is located on a beach somewhere then the personal trainers can schedule some beach time or do the morning calisthenics in the sand or schedule a distance run.

Running in the sand will give the runner more resistance and require more effort than running on asphalt or a sidewalk so the client will burn more calories in the same amount of time.

It is a well known fact that the sound of waves breaking on the sand is one of the most relaxing sounds in the world. Most people associate it with being on vacation on a tropical island somewhere.

Also, someone with joint or knee problems may possibly be better able to handle a run in the sand because it cushions the joint and offers less jarring, therefore preventing injury.

Other venues may offer views of the mountains or the desert or even a forest all of which are beautiful in their own ways. The mountains are tall and majestic and rise well above the earth's surface, while the desert can offer miles and miles of panoramic views as well as the forest that can be mysterious and wondrous all at the same time.

As the client, you can research each locale and then make your choice as to which camp to join or you can just go with your gut and choose the type of locale you like the best.

Try something new and different or go with what you know the best. If you vacation quite a bit in tropical locales then maybe you might want to try going up into the mountains for something different.

The personal trainers at any of the locales will customize a workout program for you no matter where you choose to go that fits the area you are in. Hiking trails, biking paths should be available to not only get in a good workout but to be able to enjoy the scenery as well.

So, you have your choice of the beach and other locations of weightloss boot camps to get the job done and return home in not only better shape but a better frame of mind as well.
